Punch TV Studios remembers the life of New York rapper, Craig Mack, who passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 in South Carolina from congestive heart failure. The Punch TV Studios family would like to pay their respects to the family and loved ones of Mr. Mack and send their condolences.
Mack was known for putting Sean “P. Diddy” Combs’ music label on the map with his hit single “Flava in Ya Ear” back in 1994. The hit record was remixed by LL Cool J and Notorious B.I.G whose death anniversary was just recently mourned by fans.
“I was inspired by Craig Mack and Flava in Ya Ear. I remember many nights when I would work late into the night just singing Here comes the brand new flava in ya ear, Time for new flava in ya ear, I’m kicking new flava in ya ear. Craig Mack gave us the theoretical soundtrack to Punch TV Studios. That’s what Punch TV Studios is. A brand new flava in ya ear.”
According to Erik Sermon, Mack’s close friend, the duo had recorded music and filmed a documentary about his life prior to his passing.
Punch TV Studios was particularly interested in working with the legendary artist because of his amazing flow and reputation for hit records. The production company will create over 300 new feature films and television shows over the next four years and looked forward to the possibility of including Mack in these projects.
